Nimrod MR2 Wooden Model
The Hawker Siddeley Nimrod is a retired maritime patrol aircraft developed and operated by the United Kingdom. It was an extensive modification of the de Havilland Comet, the world's first operational jet airliner. It was originally designed by de Havilland's successor firm, Hawker Siddeley; further development and maintenance work was undertaken by Hawker Siddeley's own successor companies, British Aerospace and, later, BAE Systems.
Handcrafted from quality mahogany with a high luster varnish, this is a stylised desk-top model of a Nimrod MR2 ideal for home or office.
- Highly detailed and carefully hand crafted desktop model of the of the Nimrod MR2
- The wood used is reclaimed.
- Made from solid mahogany and complete with solid mahogany matching stand.
- Finished in high gloss lacquer to enhance the natural beauty of the mahogany.
- Simple to assemble with no glue required, simply slot wooden parts such as wings into pre drilled holes.
- With room for a commemorative plaque (not supplied) onto the stand.
