Terms and Conditions for the use of www.flightstore.co.uk

    • Email / Telephone response time
      Flightstore will endevour to reply to your enquiry the same business day as we receive it upto 4pm each day. Enquiries received after that time will be attempted to be answered the next business day.

    • Payment Options:
      FLIGHTSTORE accepts VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Visa Debit, Switch, Paypal Amazon Payments and BACS .
      Please note we no longer accept cheques

      We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully
      We collect information about you: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.

      The type of information we will collect about you includes:
      your name, address, phone number and email address
      The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

      We will use the information you provide only for the following purposes:
      • To send updates regarding the status of your orders
      • To send you newsletters and details of offers and promotions in which we believe you will be interested
      • To improve the content, design and layout of the flightstore.co.uk website and to facilitate knowledge management
      • To understand the interests and buying behaviour of our users
      • To perform other such general marketing and promotional activities focused on our products and services.
      • We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future.

      You can edit your communications preferences at any time via the 'my account' section of our website
      We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.

      All manufacturers normal guarantees apply.

    • Supply of Goods:
      It may be, that due to circumstances beyond our control, FLIGHTSTORE are not able to guarantee the supply of goods. The acknowledgment generated to a customer at the time an order is placed is confirmation only of the details given by the customer and is not an acceptance of the order. Prices may change at any time or goods may not currently be available. Should this be the case FLIGHTSTORE will contact the customer by e-mail, fax or telephone within 5 working days to appraise them of the situation and give them the option to cancel.

    • Order Acknowledgement:

      An order placed on the website will be acknowledged as received through an 'Order Acknowledgement' sent to your e-mail address. The order becomes confirmed at the point of despatch. If there are any problems with your order, then you will be contacted directly.

    • Quality of Goods/Fitness for Purpose:

      FLIGHTSTORE makes every effort to ensure that products advertised on the site are of a high quality. In the event that goods received are found not to be of merchantable quality or fit for the purpose described by the manufacturers they may be returned and a replacement (if requested and available) will be sent otherwise we will refund your monies in full. All the details, dimensions and usage of the products shown on the web site have been supplied to FLIGHTSTORE by the manufacturers/suppliers.
  • Returns Procedures and refunds:

    Unwanted items returned for a refund.

    Flightstore will accept any product back that is unused and in their original undamaged packaging up to 30 days after purchase. You are free to inspect the goods, and in the case of clothing try them on for size, to make sure they meet with your requirements but products cannot be “Used first” and then sent back as unwanted.

    If a product is returned to us as unwanted but is not in 100% resaleable condition ie: in the same exact state it was received in, then the customer will be returned the product and no refund issued

    DVD’s or Software cannot be returned for a refund when the seal has been broken or the package opened.

    Flightstore does not accept back any returned items purchased or delivered to any commercial production company including TV, Magazines , Photographers and variants there of for whatever reason.

    Multiple items: When buying more than one quantity of exactly the same item only one item can be opened. for example if you are buying 3 x size 16" shirts we only accept one opened one back and the other two still unopened.

    Please note: When returning goods to us it is the customer’s duty to ensure the goods are sent on an insured service. Flightstore are not liable for lost parcels when returned to us. No refund can be given unless we receive your returned goods.

    Faulty items

    Faulty goods will be replaced immediately within 28 days of purchase. After that period but still within the manufacturer’s warranty faulty items will be replaced or repaired at our discretion. All products purchased from Flightstore Pilot Shop are guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months where no manufacturer’s warranties apply.

    Faulty goods can only be replaced with the same product.

    If a product is assessed as being damaged by the customer Flightstore will first approach the manufacturer to get permission to replace or repair the product under warranty. This does not affect your statutory rights.

    Goods Returns Proceedure

    Customers should log into their customer account and submit a return request which is automatically emailed to both the customer and the Flightstore on completion
    You can if wish also print a returns form for one or more items of an order which you complete and post back to us with the item(s) you wish to return

  • Delivery Conditions
    Free UK delivery is available for orders to the UK Mainland only and applies only to orders over £90

    Flightstore will despatch your order the same working day, Monday To Friday excluding UK bank holidays  if we receive your order before 3pm.
    If for any reason we cannot despatch your order within this time period we will contact you immediately to inform you of the new despatch date, if this doesn't suit you, you may cancel your order.

    In the event that we can only supply part of your order we will split your order and only debit the payment from items we can despatch.

    Flightstore use a variety of delivery services which you can select from at the checkout stage. From 1st Class mail to guaranteed and weekend deliveries through to international standard and express we can get your order to you in a fast and efficient way.

    Loss or damage:

    If goods are found to have been damaged in transit then they may be returned and a replacement, if requested and if available, will be despatched. If no replacement is available then monies will be refunded in full.

    Non Delivery

    Claims for missing items or the non delivery of orders must be made within 28 days of the despatch date. All trackable orders will have a P.O.D. signature showing the delivery date and who signed for it.


    Orders placed through mail order cannot be collected under UK law. This is to prevent fraud.

  • Loss or damage:
    If goods are found to have been damaged in transit then they may be returned and a replacement, if requested and if available, will be despatched. If no replacement is available then monies will be refunded in full. FLIGHTSTORE must be informed within 7 days of receipt by either e-mail orders@flightstore.co.uk or by telephone on 01924 480777 with confirmation in writing there-after. It is in your own interests to check the delivery immediately and notify FLIGHTSTORE of any problems.

    Non Delivery  Claims for missing items or the non delivery of complete orders must be made within 60 days of the despatch date. All trackable orders will have a P.O.D. signature showing the delivery date and who signed for it. P.O.Ds are supplied by the carrier and elapse after 60 days. Therefore claims for non delivery after 60 days from the date of despatch have elapsed cannot be accepted.
  • Data Protection Act:
    The information requested on this site may be used by FLIGHTSTORE to confirm, update and enhance our customer records. Your DATA will never be passed onto any 3rd party requests. Information may also be disclosed and used for fraud detection purposes. In terms of the Data Protection Act you are entitled to a copy of all your personal data held by us on computer on payment of a small fee.
  • Title:
    Title of goods does not pass to the purchaser until the goods are paid for in full. The responsibility and risk in the Goods shall pass to the buyer at the point of delivery and FLIGHTSTORE shall have no responsibility in respect of the safety of the goods thereafter.

  • VAT & DUTY:
    All our store prices are VAT inclusive. A VAT invoice will be forwarded to you with your delivery.
    VAT discrepancies and queries for NON UK orders are the responsibilty of the customer only.


    For export orders it is the responsibility of the customer to make sure he/she is aware of any duty charges that may be made by the country of origin on delivery. Flightstore are not liable for any duty charges that may be incurred. If you are buying for business outside of the EC and have a registered VAT number we can supply on business terms without VAT. This cannot be done on this website.

  • Security of Credit Card Payment Options:
    At the point where you confirm and request the purchase by pressing the 'send order' button you will be transferred to a 'SSL' secure sockets server. Any details that are received by this server will be encrypted by 1028 bit technology before being e-mailed to FLIGHTSTORE . You will know when you are sending secure information as the top bar in your browser will read "https: the 's' standing for secure. Your browser may also indicate this by showing an unbroken key or locked padlock in the bottom corner.
  • Law:
    All contracts by FLIGHTSTORE for the sale of the goods shall be deemed in all respects to be contracts made, performed and contracted according to English Law.
  • Value Sets:
    Where customers have purchased "Value Sets" as promoted on the Flightstore website, each item which comprise the set are covered individually. Where an item is deemed to be faulty, the individual item in question should only be returned and not the full value set. Flightstore reserves the right not to accept back the full value set and to verify the item is faulty.
