Why this kit is a little giant

Return of a classic: This is the first release of our Puma in 1:144 since 2006 - a welcome addition for collectors.
All inclusive: Basic paints, brushes and the appropriate glue are included in the set, which allows construction to start immediately.
Historical selection: The kit contains decals for two historic RAF operational scenarios: the Gulf War and the Northern Ireland conflict.
Compact precision: With a length of 102 mm and a rotor diameter of 104 mm, the model is space-saving, but still meets the requirements of Level 4.
More current than ever: With the type being retired from the Royal Air Force, interest in this workhorse of the skies has increased again.

Despite its handy size of around 10 centimeters, this kit is not a simple toy, but a detailed model for hobbyists with some experience (level 4). The 68 individual parts come together to form an authentic replica, which is particularly impressive due to its fine surface structures. The set is ideal if you are looking for a manageable project that still offers historical depth.

You have the choice between two very different looks: the desert camouflage of "Operation Granby" (Gulf War) or the classic paint job of the machines stationed in Northern Ireland (No. 230 Squadron). Both variants tell their own story and can be implemented excellently thanks to the included Aqua Colours. It is the perfect entry into the world of small scale military helicopters or an ideal addition to existing 1:144 fleets.

Background information

The Westland Puma HC.1 was the backbone of the Royal Air Force's (RAF) tactical transport fleet for decades. Based on the French Aérospatiale Puma, it was manufactured under license by Westland in the UK and adapted to the specific needs of the RAF. Its robustness and versatility made it legendary. Regardless of whether it was troop transport, evacuations or supply flights – the Puma was always there where there was a fire. Its missions in the Northern Ireland conflict and during the first Gulf War particularly shaped the public image of this helicopter. With this model you pay tribute to a piece of aviation history that recently began its well-deserved retirement.

EXPORT
INTERNATIONAL TRACKED : This is a normal postal service. It is tracked but is not guaranteed to arrive on a set time scale. It is the most cost effective service but is a lot slower than couriers. For fast delivery we reccommend our other services that are offered at checkout.

DPD EUROPE/PARCELFORCE EUROPE: These are courier tracked services but can still take more than a week.

FED-EX: This is a guaranteed service with included tracking number. It is also much quicker than airmail.

Loss or damage:

If goods are found to be faulty on deliver after inspection they may be returned for a replacement. If no replacement is available then monies will be refunded in full. Please make sure you inform us within 7 days of receipt of any faults when you inspect the goods

Non Delivery

Claims for missing items or the non delivery of orders must be made within 28 days of the despatch date. All trackable orders will have a P.O.D. signature showing the delivery date and who signed for it.
