This is a 1/72 scale model in diecast metal of the 1943 Curtiss P40-F Warhawk X43 - Miss Memphis - stationed in North Africa during World War Two. Comes ready built in a clear packaging box

The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk was an American single engined, single-seat all-metal fighter and ground attack aircraft produced between 1939 and 1944. ‘Miss Memphis’ was flown by the 79th Fighter Group stationed in North Africa during World War Two and featured the warbird’s menacing ‘Flying Skull’ nose art to the front of the fuselage.

The aircraft also displays the risqué́ artwork created by Cpl Joseph E Pumphrey on the tail fin displaying a pin up girl of the time. However, her rather naughty presence was short-lived and was subsequently removed under commanders’ orders. But – ‘Miss Memphis’ lives on in 1:72 scale miniature on our model of the P40, a faithful reproduction of the original aircraft. The Warhawk is decorated in the desert camouflage of earth brown and sand to the upper body with azure underside. Its X43 Star lettering is painted white along the sides with the US star contained within a blue circle. Further detail sees a red propeller spinner, silver pitot tube and propeller blades, tyres and gun turrets in black

Royal Mail is an now a tracked service. We may at our discretion upgrade your delivery to a courier at our cost.
Special Delivery / Parcelforce / DPD : These are guaranteed services with included tracking numbers.

EXPORT
INTERNATIONAL TRACKED : This is a normal postal service. It is tracked but is not guaranteed to arrive on a set time scale. It is the most cost effective service but is a lot slower than couriers. For fast delivery we reccommend our other services that are offered at checkout.

DPD EUROPE/PARCELFORCE EUROPE: These are courier tracked services but can still take more than a week.

FED-EX: This is a guaranteed service with included tracking number. It is also much quicker than airmail.

Loss or damage:

If goods are found to be faulty on deliver after inspection they may be returned for a replacement. If no replacement is available then monies will be refunded in full. Please make sure you inform us within 7 days of receipt of any faults when you inspect the goods

Non Delivery

Claims for missing items or the non delivery of orders must be made within 28 days of the despatch date. All trackable orders will have a P.O.D. signature showing the delivery date and who signed for it.
