F-16 (YF-16) First Flight 1974 Brick Model Kit

This set is a tribute to the first test flight of the F-16, which took place on February 2, 1974! Despite the passage of more than fifty years since its flight, thanks to systematic development and increasing combat capabilities, this aircraft still retains high combat values and will be the equipment of the US Air Force until at least 2030, and in other countries even longer.

The F-16 (in the prototype version of the YF-16) is one of the most famous multi-role fighters, which was developed in the United States in the 1970s. It was equipped with the Pratt & Whitney F100-PW-100 engine, which allowed it to achieve high speeds (up to Mach 2.05) and great manoeuvrability.

The F-16 is a multi-role aircraft, which means that it can act as both an interceptor and a combat support aircraft. It can perform attacks on air, surface and ground targets. It is capable of carrying a wide range of weapons, including air-to-air, air-to-ground missiles, bombs, and on-board guns.

Don't wait! Build a legend and add it to your collection!

Advantages of the F-16® (YF-16) First Flight 1974 building block set:

375 elements - This set includes 375 precisely made blocks that will allow you to create a test model of the F-16 Fighting Falcon® in the colours of the first flight. Thanks to the Lockheed Martin license, the model is exceptionally faithful to the original and full of details, such as the unique painting from that period, which will delight every aviation and modelling enthusiast.

1:48 scale set - The test version of the model was designed in 1:48 scale, which makes it large enough to appreciate its details, and at the same time compact enough to be easily displayed. The blocks are covered with high-quality prints that faithfully reproduce the US Air Force emblems, and the pilot's cabin, made in two-colour injection technology, adds realism to the entire set.

Pilot figure - To emphasise the historical context, the model includes a pilot figure in a characteristic test flight suit, helmet and oxygen mask with hose. This is a true nod to the prototype F-16, which debuted in 1974.

Movable elements - The model is equipped with many movable elements such as wheels, ailerons or an opening cockpit, which add to its authenticity and allow for even greater interaction.

Simple construction - Thanks to the intuitive instructions, assembly is simple and pleasant, not causing problems even for less experienced builders.

Wide selection - Check out other machines from the ARMED FORCES series and create your own collection of wonderful planes!

The F-16 in the test version from 1974 is a great opportunity to have a legendary plane in your collection, which attracts attention and arouses admiration not only among fans of construction blocks.

The model looks great on a shelf, desk or in a specially prepared display case.
