This is a 1/72 scale diecast scale model of the SAAB Gripen JAS-39A Swedish AD F 17 Wing Ronneby Air Show August 2004

The Saab JAS 39 Gripen is a lightweight, single-engine multi-role fighter aircraft developed by the Swedish aerospace firm Saab, intended to succeed the Saab 35 Draken and 37 Viggen in the Swedish Air Force. Featuring a delta wing and canard design with relaxed stability and fly-by-wire controls, the Gripen is powered by the Volvo RM12 engine, achieving a maximum speed of Mach 2. Subsequent models have been adapted to meet NATO interoperability standards and equipped for in-flight refueling capabilities.
The Swedish Air Force ordered a total of 204 Gripens in three production batches, with the first aircraft delivered on June 8, 1993, and the final one on December 13, 1996. The JAS 39 entered operational service with the F 7 Wing on November 1, 1997, and the last of the third batch was delivered to the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration on November 26, 2008. In 2007, a modernization program began to upgrade 31 JAS 39A/B fighters to the JAS 39C/D variants, with 134 Gripens in service by January 2013.

On June 14, 2004, it was announced that the Czech Republic would lease 14 Gripen aircraft, modified to NATO specifications, which included training for Czech pilots and technicians in Sweden. The first six aircraft were delivered on April 18, 2005, under a ten-year lease agreement costing €780 million, comprising 12 single-seat and two two-seat JAS 39D trainers.

Special Delivery / Parcelforce / DPD : These are guaranteed services with included tracking numbers.

EXPORT
INTERNATIONAL TRACKED : This is a normal postal service. It is tracked but is not guaranteed to arrive on a set time scale. It is the most cost effective service but is a lot slower than couriers. For fast delivery we reccommend our other services that are offered at checkout.

DPD EUROPE/PARCELFORCE EUROPE: These are courier tracked services but can still take more than a week.

FED-EX: This is a guaranteed service with included tracking number. It is also much quicker than airmail.

Loss or damage:

If goods are found to be faulty on deliver after inspection they may be returned for a replacement. If no replacement is available then monies will be refunded in full. Please make sure you inform us within 7 days of receipt of any faults when you inspect the goods

Non Delivery

Claims for missing items or the non delivery of orders must be made within 28 days of the despatch date. All trackable orders will have a P.O.D. signature showing the delivery date and who signed for it.
