The information is all there, but the paper it's on could be better

Just recieved three of these CAA maps that together cover the whole of GB.

I will admit I was expecting the maps to easily fold into a booklet form like Ordnance Survey maps do. Instead they're like giant laminated posters with the map on one side, so while they do come folded, they always resist folding and want to spring back and unfold themselves. This is a bit annoying and might be a problem if you're trying to read it whilst flying.

A card with various squawk and LARS frequencies was also included, which is very useful, but I would have liked a separate card with the map legend on as well as it can be difficult to fold the map in a way that shows the area I want to look at as well as the legend. I'll probably scan the legend and print it off though so it isn't a massive deal.

Other than that these maps are honestly really high quality and are extremely reliable when compared to some other maps I've seen. The important information is all there.

4/5 stars.
