Product Summary

This is a massive 1:72 scale model of the Avro Vulcan B.2 XM575, RAF No.101 Sqn, Waddington Wing, 1975 weighing in at nearly 4Kg and with a 470mm wingspan.

Taking full advantage of modern diecasting technology, Corgi launched this big 1:72 scale model of the famous Bomber in 2014. Now reissued for collectors who missed out on the first production or who want a very stunning model with an equally stunning paint scheme. From the moment you see the box you will know this is a Collectible Souvenir and decoration piece which will grace any enthusiasts place of honour. The Vulcan model is a great piece of history to start off a collection of models – it frames your growing collection perfectly.
Once you move past the stunning box artwork, you’ll have in your hands just one of 1,000 Vulcan models produced in this version. Opening the box will show you a giant of a recreation – the wingspan being an impressive 472mm!

What is apparent is how the factory staff have finished off this model to perfection – there’s no painting or decals to apply, no glue to wave around. This is the real deal – a complete model in diecast metal and detailed plastic mouldings. You’ll also find a lovely display stand in the box – so the model can perch on a shelf or window ledge and catch your eye whenever you want to appreciate a recreation in miniature of this plane.
