The Fast Find is a waterproof 406 MHz Personal Location Beacon (PLB) that should be carried by individuals, who are embarking on trips into areas around the world where there is little or no other form of communication or where other forms of communication are unlikely to work. The Fast Find acts as your personal Emergency Location Beacon, it is your last resort communication to the national and international search and rescue bodies and it should not be mis-used. The Fast Find is designed as a direct communication, to the 406 MHz Search and Rescue satellite system, its signal indicates that you are in need of urgent response and assistance.
Its small size belies its rugged construction and powerful output. There is no compromise. Once activated, the distress beacon will send out a signal for help, and continues to transmit for at least 24 hours, at a powerful 5 watt output, ensuring that your call for help gets through whatever the conditions. The pocket sized, waterproof beacon transmits at the press of a button, to alert search and rescue services to your plight.
The 210 transmits the two signals simultaneously, one to the subscription free global 406 MHz satellite system, and the other (121.5MHz) is to speed up the local recovery response process. Once activated, FAST FIND's signals will continue to transmit for at least 24 hours, at a powerful 5 watt output, the 406 MHz transmission ensures that a call for help gets through whatever the conditions.
FAST FIND also includes a unique SOS LED flash light facility which is manually activated to further assist in speeding up the users recovery during night time rescues.
FAST FIND will operate in temperatures down to -20°c and its integral battery has a user storage life of 5 years, so there’s no need for constant battery changes and re-charging.
How it works:
The Cospas-Sarsat 406 MHz satellite system has global coverage that provides a typical time to alert notification of between approximately 3 and 45 minutes. The geographical location of a Fast Find 210 (with inbuilt GPS receiver) can normally be resolved within 5 minutes The time to alert is dependent on which satellites are in view in the sky at the time of Fast Find activation.
Activating the Fast Find
1. Pull the antenna cover off
2. Unwrap the antenna until it stands vertical
3. Press the ON button

The McMurdo Fastfind 210 buoyancy pack provides sufficient extra buoyancy to make the Fast Find float so it can easily be recovered if dropped into water. Each pack contains 1 yellow and 1 black floating pouch. The buoyancy pack is not designed to allow the Fast Find to float in an upright position, or to transmit a distress alert when floating in water. When in use, the Fast Find’s deployed antenna must be raised clear of the water by the user.

Relief Band Explorer Motion Sickness Relief System
The non-prescription ReliefBand® device is unlike anything else sold for motion sickness. It offers numerous advantages.
First, it is Drug Free. Because it is not a drug, you won't have the headache, drowsiness, dizziness or other side effects typical of most medicinal remedies on the market. Also, instead of having to take something several hours ahead of time, the ReliefBand can be used any time, even after nausea symptoms start.
Second, there are no restrictions on consumption of food, beverages or medications with the use of ReliefBand®.
And finally, unlike medicines, pressure bands, and other passive remedies, with the ReliefBand® device you control the level and duration of relief. You can actually feel it helping to control your motion sickness.
Every good flight plan should include taking along a ReliefBand® device to guard against the nausea and vomiting that many people suffer when flying. It has been clinically tested and, because it is drug-free, it meets FAA requirements.
ReliefBand® is easy to use and has none of the side effects associated with most other motion sickness products. Simply place the sporty-looking device on your passenger's wrist and head off with confidence into the wild blue yonder.
Worn like a bracelet or a watch, the ReliefBand® device uses gentle electrical signals to stimulate a specific nerve in the underside of the wrist. By stimulating the body's nervous system in this fashion, the ReliefBand® can be used to relieve the nausea and vomiting symptoms associated with motion sickness.
With the Power Save feature, you can conserve power when the device is not in use. By making sure the device is in the Off position when not in use, you can use it intermittently over several days, week or months. You can also use it continuously for up to 150 consecutive hours until the batteries run out of power and need to be replaced.
CAUTION:
Pacemaker Users Use the device only as directed on the wrist to prevent possible interference with your pacemaker. Avoid placing the electrodes directly on your chest or near the pacemaker.
