This is the all new Version 5 of the familiar NavBox Planning software. Navbox Quickplan is a user-friendly product offering high quality at a budget price.
It is aimed at pilots who want an intuitive no-frills flight planner - simply draw a line on the screen, click on a line for a rapid calculation, print the PLOG and you are ready for take-off.
The software provides a scalable map with all European airfields including FIRs, country borders, coast lines and magnetic variation and a complete airfield directory with frequencies, runways, customs, fuel and contact numbers.

More detailed coast lines. Many islands and fjords added for better orientation. - User selectable land and water colour. - Major rivers, lakes, motorways, railways, and city contours for better orientation. - CTRs with labels. - SRZs and MATZs. - Restricted airspace with labels. - Danger and prohibited areas with labels. - Other airspace up to 5000 ft with labels. - VFR transit routes.
Routes database
Routes are automatically stored upon creating a new route or exiting QuickPlan. - Store up to 999 routes. - Sort routes in alphabetical or chronologic order.
User waypoints database
Unlimited number of waypoints. - Define position using a true/magnetic direction and distance from any other waypoint. - Define position using two radials from two beacons. - Define position by creating a temporary waypoint with the mouse on the map and then convert it to a user waypoint. - Define position by latitude and longitude.
Search function Search the current map by typing a few letters of the name or ident of the desired waypoint. Hit 'Enter' to scroll the map and have a big arrow point to the waypoint you are looking for or click the 'Append' button to add it to your route.
Database update service
Low cost monthly database update service via Internet in preparation.
