This plotter incorporates a semi-circular protractor and multi-scale. Manufactured in clear plastic with underprinted white scales and measures 330mm x 100mm. Edge of the scale is simply aligned with desired track to obtain true or magnetic zero-wind headings and distances from beacon or start point. Multi scale incorporates in 1:500,000 readings to 87 nautical miles and to 160 kilometres. In 1:1,000,000 readings to 174 nautical miles and to 320 kilometres. Centre scale converts between nautical miles and statute miles to 82 miles
