The IFR-1 is a lightweight hood designed to be worn during instrument flying practice to effectively restrict upward and lateral visibility when the aircraft has not been fitted with blind flying screens. Manufactured in black or white moulded plastic it is fully adjustable by means of an elasticated velcro strap.
