Designed to be used with handheld transceiver. The unit will plug directly into a Icom A22/A3 or Bendix-King KX99 transceiver. Because each transceiver has a different plug pinout, weve placed a slide switch on the top which allows you to set the intercom for whichever radio you are using. A push-to-talk switch is supplied with this unit.
The Pilot and Co-Pilot can each communicate via the unit and transmit using the Push-toTalk switch supplied with the Intercom. In the event of a radio failure the unit will provide an independent communication facility by simply plugging the headset plugs from the Transceiver into the intercom directly. The PA200 also offers enhanced listening and transmission with it's volume and squelch facility.
PILOT products have
various lengths of warranties against malfunction due to defects in workmanship
and materials. If such a malfunction occurs, the product will be replaced or
repaired (at our option) without charge for materials or labor if delivered
prepaid to the proper PILOT service facility. The unit will be returned
prepaid. The warranty does not cover malfunction due to abuse or misuse of the
product. Unauthorized repair by anyone other than PILOT or its agents will void
this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.
