Part of our FlexiRange this is a Convenient 16" length. The scale most often used. Manufactured with rounded protective ends. Outside edges read to 110 Nautical Miles in 1:500,000 and 55 Nautical Miles in 1:250,000 respectively. Centre scale reads Kilometres to 200 and Statute Miles to 127.
Made from 0.75nm plastic, this rules bends through 180 degrees so no more snapping when you sit on them.
To protect the markings on such a thin flexible plastic we have then had a lamination applied. When held up against the light it appears a "dull finish" but when placed on the chart goes back to clear - quite clever really!
