Part of our FlexiRange this is a Convenient 10" short length for cockpit use. Outside edges respectively read to 60 Nautical Miles in 1:500,000 and to 30 Nautical Miles in 1:250,000. Centre scale reads Statute and Kilometers in 1:500,000 scale .
Made from 0.75nm plastic, this rules bends through 180 degrees so no more snapping when you sit on them.
To protect the markings on such a thin flexible plastic we have then had a lamination applied. When held up against the light it appears a "dull finish" but when placed on the chart goes back to clear - quite clever really!
