From as far back as 1980, aviation journalist and photographer Ron Mak, and later on his brother Chris, recorded South American propliners in action on cine film and ultimately on digital video. Using the latest film and video restoration techniques, this DVD has some stunning images of big props at work in Venezuela, Guatemala, Nicaragua and especially Colombia.
The highlights of twenty years of propliner action have some superb C46s in both Nicaragua and Colombia, including a landing at an island airstrip. Villavicencio, Colombia had dozens of DC3s plus DC6s, C46s and AN32s and even a Catalina.
