He has over 40 years flying experience that includes service with the RAF and also world wide civil & military flying. He has specialised in STOL flying in such areas as the Himalayas, Papua New Guinea, Africa, the Middle east and South America. He has had much technical aviation material published and is also an aviation lecturer and consultant. He lives in Loughborough, UK
