The VOR, ADF & RMI
Introduces the theory of using VOR, ADF & RMI Systems

This is a completely re-worked and fully updated edition of the standard text on radio aids. It introduces the theory required to operate and use the VOR, ADF, RMI and DME. The text has been re-written to make it compliant with the latest practices and regulations and also includes new and improved diagrams and illustrations detailing the layout and function of the latest aircraft instrumentation.
Instrument descent example exercises into Guernsey and Jersey are included to give that extra depth of understanding to the basic procedures. This is book that will always be a handy source of reference. It is ideal for pilots new to the theory of radio aids and for those more practised and knowledgable for revision purposes. Soft binding.

About the author
Martin Cass started flying in 1962 at Shoreham Airport, Sussex and became a flying instructor at Shoreham in 1964.
In 1978 he joined British Island Airways as a first officer on the Dart Herald and subsequently crewed the BAC 1-11 and McDonnell Douglas MD-83. After the sad and sudden demise of BIA in 1990, Martin went back to the BAC 1-11 with London European, Luton. Finally, having flown a total of 13,000 hours, he completed four more happy years on the noisy but nice 1-11, with British World Airlines at Stanstead and Copenhagen.
