About The Author

Ken Stewart started Gliding in 1972 and by 1976 held an Instructor's Rating. In 1982 he bacame the National Coach for the British Gliding Association, being involved in all aspects of the sport, the training of instructors, cross country and competition training. He is a keen soaring pilot and holder of the FAI Diamond Badge. He now works as an airline pilot and still instructs on both Gliders and Motor Gliders.
