The new and updated fourth edition of The Flight Instructors Manual is an invaluable reference for those working on the flight instructors certificate and serves as an indispensable guide for the new instructor. Both experienced and newly certified flight instructors can turn to this excellent resource for information about the problems students and more advanced pilots will encounter.
The book is organized so that each chapter can be used as a stand-alone reference for a particular phase of instruction. The information parallels the material presented in The Student Pilots Flight Manual, The Advanced Pilots Flight Manual, The Basic Aerobatic Manual, and The Instrument Flight Manual, allowing The Flight Instructors Manual to serve as "how to instruct" guide rather than a detailed text on the basics.
