All you need for the CPL, ATPL, IR and IATRA exams, PPCs and recurrent training, for aeroplanes and helicopters!
The idea behind this book is not only to get you through your exams, but to be a source of reference afterwards, maybe as a quick refresher for proficiency checks, or simply to dip into now and then. In other words, it's not a book geared specifically towards particular questions, although there are enough subtle hints here and there (about as subtle as a sledgehammer!) - aside from interest, much of the subject matter has been added because you need to know it as a professional, which is important for the flight test, where the examiner will treat you as a company pilot, so you will want to give the best impression possible. As a result, there's a lot you don't get taught in flying school, including going for a job!
It is especially useful for people with foreign licences who need to get their Canadian ones in a hurry.

Additional Product Information
The contents include the usual subjects, that is, radio, weather, law, flight planning, etc., right up to the ATPL. Aeroplanes and helicopters are covered, as well as the Instrument Rating and IATRA, since the subject matter is essentially similar and the difference is only about 10% (actually two questions between the helicopter and fixed wing IR), so there's real value inside these pages, especially as many professional tips and tricks have been included to help make your transition to being a professional as easy as possible. There is a natural crossover between some subjects, and it has been decided to go with the flow and not be too rigid with the divisions, so you will either find some items dealt with twice, or not in the right section. Repetitions, therefore, are not mistakes, but are meant to help you retain the knowledge. Words in italics are keywords, which should be remembered for exams.
About the author Phil Croucher has UK and Canadian professional licences for aeroplanes and helicopters and around 6800 hours on 33 types, having also been at various times a Chief Pilot, Ops Manager and traiing Captain for several companies.
