FTX ENGLAND

I don't no what the other guys are talking about but I hate negative feed back on something which is new.The version of software was rushed out to please the public so if you wait for the new update you will see that everything falls into place ,and it is a massive improvement over the standard fsx version.keep up the good work orbx well done cant wait for the rest.

ps always use uk2000 airports for photo realistic.

Underwhelming

As an owner of all Orbx Australia and Pacific Northwest scenery, I was very excited about the release of my home scenery.

Unfortunately, I am quite underwhelmed by this product. It is a reasonable improvement on default FSX scenery though.

Roads and railways seem quite inaccurate in places, or are sometimes missing completely. Houses appear detatched rather than terraced as they are in many of our urban areas. I have also found some airfields are missing; I was looking forward to visiting Damyns Hall (quite a busy airstrip), but it's not there!

Performance with the PNW and AUS areas has always been very good, but my frame rates are significantly lower with this one.

I think this is heavily overpriced compared to the download version. The box print/production nothing special and there is no documentation or printed map included. I see very little advantage to spending over £15 extra (including postage) for the boxed version.

Overall, it's OK but could have been a lot better.
